Plan my trip from BayahíbeIdentify the correct hotel
Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa is in the Bayahíbe coast. This is the current adults-only Secrets La Romana property, not Secrets Tides or Cap Cana. Hyatt currently presents Secrets La Romana as an adults-only all-inclusive stay on the Bayahíbe coast.
Plan the hotel collection
From the Bayahíbe coast, confirm the land connection to the Catalina boarding location rather than walking to a boat based on the hotel's beach setting. Send Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa, the date, travelers and return address. Full-day options include transfer, drinks and a Dominican beach lunch buffet; exact collection instructions and booking terms are confirmed for your request.
Ask whether your confirmed boat boards locally or after a road connection to another agreed pier. A hotel's beach access, a dive-center boat and a Saona departure queue are separate arrangements. Save the Catalina vessel and check-in instructions so you do not join the wrong island group.
Match the day to your travel party
For guests choosing Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa for an adults-oriented stay, discuss whether you prefer a social shared boat or an exclusive private outing. The hotel's atmosphere does not determine the passenger ages or music on an independently booked excursion. Divers should provide certification or request the supervised beginner introduction before the activity is confirmed.
Pick your Catalina experience
CatalinaTrip offers the full-day snorkeling tour for US$99 and the diving option for US$149, with or without certification subject to the appropriate introductory plan. Private boat use is quoted separately. Transfer, drinks and Dominican buffet lunch at the beach are included in all options.
Confirm collection before the day
Provide your date, full guest count, children's ages and WhatsApp contact. Ask for the precise entrance, collection time, boat meeting point and return window. Do not assume the hotel operates or endorses the excursion; its official website is cited for identity and location only.
Questions about this departure
Is Secrets La Romana in Cap Cana?
No. The current Hyatt listing places Secrets La Romana on the Bayahíbe coast. Secrets Cap Cana and Secrets Tides are other resorts, so use the complete property identity.
