DOMINICAN REPUBLIC ONE ISLAND. A WHOLE LOT TO LOVE.Get to know Catalina

THE DETAILS MATTER

Good information.
Clear origins.

CatalinaTrip is a research-based planning resource for Isla Catalina near La Romana, Dominican Republic. We help travelers compare tours, understand the island and plan from their hotel.

How we research the island

Each guide links its sources and states a review date. Destination facts come from official tourism, environmental and specialist sources. Practical checklists are editorial guidance. Our publishing identity is CatalinaTrip editorial; it does not imply a named local guide, dive qualification or independent field inspection.

We distinguish the Dominican island from Santa Catalina in California and from Saona. We do not copy Saona routes, protected-area descriptions or photographs into Catalina guides.

Published CatalinaTrip tour information

The owner supplied these offers on October 21, 2026: Catalina Island Tour with snorkeling, US$99; Catalina Island Tour + Diving, US$149; Private Catalina Island Tour, by quote. All options are full day and include transfer, drinks and Dominican lunch buffet at the beach.

The diving option is available for enquiries with or without certification. Beginners require an instructor-led introduction and eligibility confirmation. Dive count, sites, equipment, age requirements, pickup coverage, child prices and cancellation terms must be confirmed for the booking.

The site takes enquiries, not payments, and does not show live inventory. Use the form or review and send a WhatsApp draft. We confirm availability, pickup, the total and terms before a reservation is complete.

Hotel and zone pages

Hotel websites establish property identity and location. A hotel guide does not imply endorsement, affiliation or a guaranteed pickup time. We distinguish similarly named resorts and link each hotel to its departure area. Collection details are confirmed for the exact property and date.

Evidence, updates and corrections

We do not invent reviews, ratings, credentials, sightings or field experience. Clear water, calm seas and named reef stops are not guaranteed. Source dates describe research, not a forecast. Send corrections through the contact link with the page and supporting source so the claim can be reviewed.
