Plan my trip from Uvero AltoIdentify the correct hotel
Excellence Carmen Punta Cana is the current official property name used for the Uvero Alto resort previously described as Excellence El Carmen. Excellence Punta Cana remains a different hotel. The operator presents Carmen as a modern adults-only resort with multiple pools.
Plan the hotel collection
Include El Carmen if that appears on your travel documents, alongside the current Carmen name, so the actual resort is unambiguous. CatalinaTrip’s full-day options include transfer, drinks and a Dominican beach lunch buffet; confirm coverage for this property, collection access, boarding location and the complete return arrangements for your date.
Ask for the full collection-to-return window and how any shared collection sequence works from your resort. A local hotel shuttle is separate from the Catalina road transfer. Avoid assigning a fixed evening resort dinner or airport connection to a generic return time before your own schedule is confirmed.
Match the day to your travel party
At Carmen, pool and suite preferences can differ from what each guest wants to do in open water. Compare snorkeling with diving according to each traveler’s comfort and eligibility. For a mixed activity party or an exclusive boat, request a coordinated proposal and confirm its terms before booking.
Pick your Catalina experience
CatalinaTrip offers the full-day snorkeling tour for US$99 and the diving option for US$149, with or without certification subject to the appropriate introductory plan. Private boat use is quoted separately. Transfer, drinks and Dominican buffet lunch at the beach are included in all options.
Confirm collection before the day
Provide your date, full guest count, children's ages and WhatsApp contact. Ask for the precise entrance, collection time, boat meeting point and return window. Do not assume the hotel operates or endorses the excursion; its official website is cited for identity and location only.
