Plan my trip from Arena GordaIdentify the correct hotel
Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana is the family resort formerly called Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana. Hyatt lists its address in Arena Gorda. It is distinct from Explore Esmeralda, Explore Legend and the adult Escape resorts in the wider Bahia complex.
Plan the hotel collection
Include Grand Punta Cana if your reservation uses that name, and list other Bahia bookings separately rather than assuming a complex-wide collection. CatalinaTrip’s full-day options include transfer, drinks and a Dominican beach lunch buffet; confirm coverage for this property, collection access, boarding location and the complete return arrangements for your date.
Ask for the assigned resort entrance or lobby and keep it with the booking confirmation. Do not walk to a neighboring resort because another guest has an earlier collection. Residential stays in Cana Bay or Punta Blanca also need their own unit and access arrangements rather than a borrowed hotel meeting point.
Match the day to your travel party
Explore Punta Cana families should count actual island participants separately from everyone included in the room reservation. Compare snorkeling with diving according to each traveler’s comfort and eligibility. For a mixed activity party or an exclusive boat, request a coordinated proposal and confirm its terms before booking.
Pick your Catalina experience
CatalinaTrip offers the full-day snorkeling tour for US$99 and the diving option for US$149, with or without certification subject to the appropriate introductory plan. Private boat use is quoted separately. Transfer, drinks and Dominican buffet lunch at the beach are included in all options.
Confirm collection before the day
Provide your date, full guest count, children's ages and WhatsApp contact. Ask for the precise entrance, collection time, boat meeting point and return window. Do not assume the hotel operates or endorses the excursion; its official website is cited for identity and location only.
