Plan my trip from Playa Nueva RomanaIdentify the correct hotel
Bahia Principe Explore La Romana is the family Bahia hotel at Playa Nueva Romana, separate from adults-only Escape Bouganville. La Romana in its name is a destination reference; it does not place the hotel in Bayahíbe or at the Catalina tour’s boarding point.
Plan the hotel collection
Use Explore La Romana and Playa Nueva Romana together; confirm the actual road connection and boarding location without applying a Dominicus hotel’s instructions. CatalinaTrip’s full-day options include transfer, drinks and a Dominican beach lunch buffet; confirm coverage for this property, collection access, boarding location and the complete return arrangements for your date.
For Bahia Principe stays, send the full current hotel name and any older name on your voucher. For a residence, provide section, villa or building and host. Confirm whether the driver reaches the property or uses an approved collection point; a marina in another development is not an interchangeable boarding instruction.
Match the day to your travel party
Explore La Romana families should compare the whole Playa Nueva Romana road-and-boat day with younger travelers’ needs. Compare snorkeling with diving according to each traveler’s comfort and eligibility. For a mixed activity party or an exclusive boat, request a coordinated proposal and confirm its terms before booking.
Pick your Catalina experience
CatalinaTrip offers the full-day snorkeling tour for US$99 and the diving option for US$149, with or without certification subject to the appropriate introductory plan. Private boat use is quoted separately. Transfer, drinks and Dominican buffet lunch at the beach are included in all options.
Confirm collection before the day
Provide your date, full guest count, children's ages and WhatsApp contact. Ask for the precise entrance, collection time, boat meeting point and return window. Do not assume the hotel operates or endorses the excursion; its official website is cited for identity and location only.
