If possible, enquire early enough in your stay to discuss another date when conditions require it. Ask who decides whether the boat departs and how you will receive updates. A hotel weather app does not describe every offshore reef or crossing.
Agree the alternatives
Understand the difference between an adjusted itinerary and a cancelled departure. Request the applicable rescheduling and refund terms in writing. For a diving booking, confirm how site or activity changes are handled if the planned dive is not appropriate on the day.
